FAQ
Straight answers before you start
The questions founders are already asking in chat. If you wondered whether SynthRank only writes blogs: no. It can publish to WordPress, HubSpot or a webhook, by hand, on Autopilot, or through your own agent.
The product
- What is SynthRank?
- SynthRank is an agent-first SEO writing product. You add a site. We crawl it, fill Knowledge, and help you confirm a business profile and content strategy. Autopilot then drafts fact-checked articles. You can approve and publish them yourself, turn Autopilot automation on, or let your own agent drive the loop, including publish to WordPress, HubSpot or a webhook.
- Who is it for?
- Founders and lean marketing teams who want a steady flow of search articles grounded in their own product, not generic AI blogs. It is also built for AI agents: the same loop, including publish, is available over MCP once you have an account and an API key.
- How does the Autopilot loop work?
- The path is the same every time. Add your site. We crawl public pages and run a hybrid site audit. Knowledge fills from that crawl, and you can add PDFs and notes. You confirm a business profile and content strategy. Keywords come from Search Console when it is connected, or from the crawl and live SERP data if it is not. Autopilot drafts articles. From there you can approve and publish by hand, turn Autopilot automation on, or let an agent publish for you, once WordPress, HubSpot or a webhook is healthy.
Publishing
- Does it publish to WordPress?
- Yes. SynthRank can push articles to WordPress. It does not only write drafts inside our app. Publishing is not approve-only.
- You can approve a draft yourself, then publish it to WordPress, HubSpot or a webhook. You can turn Autopilot automation on so it publishes automatically once a healthy publisher, such as WordPress, is connected. Or you can run your own agents with an API key over MCP to drive the same loop, including publish.
- Growth and Scale can auto-publish after the fact-check when Autopilot is set to Auto publish. Review first stays available on every plan. Starter stays on Review first: you review every draft.
- What about other CMS tools and webhooks?
- Connect your HubSpot blog in the app to publish articles and keep them updated. Signed webhooks deliver the full article to an endpoint you host — including Framer with a small receiver. Retries, replay, and a test send are included. Ghost, Webflow, and Shopify native connectors are coming soon; see /integrations for status.
Knowledge and search data
- What goes into Knowledge? Can I add PDFs?
- Knowledge is the library Autopilot writes from. Public pages land there from the site crawl. Upload PDFs and add notes for anything the site does not say: offers, proof, voice, or internal detail you do not want guessed.
- Does it use Google Search Console?
- Search Console is optional. Connect it so topic picks can use queries people already search. If it is not connected, keywords still come from the crawl and live SERP research. We use real search data. We do not invent volumes.
Agents
- Can agents use SynthRank?
- Yes. MCP and a REST agent API are documented at /docs/agents. Those docs are public. Live use needs a SynthRank account and an API key from Settings → API Keys. Your agent can run the same loop as the dashboard, including publish to WordPress, HubSpot or a webhook.
